Sarah and Josiah’s wedding at Swiftwater Cellars in Suncadia was an absolute dream! Nestled on the eastern slopes of the Cascade Mountains, this venue provided a breathtaking backdrop for their big day. Surrounded by rustic details and mountain elegance, it was the perfect setting for their nature-inspired, timeless celebration.
The couple’s story started over eight years ago when they met at the University of Washington. From best friends in college to building a life full of adventures—including a “van life” build-out, traveling, and moving across the country—they’ve shared incredible memories. For their wedding, family and friends traveled from all over the country, including Portland, Austin, and beyond, to celebrate with them. With about 130-150 guests, Sarah and Josiah wanted an intimate vibe while embracing the beauty of the mountain backdrop.
The day was flawless from start to finish. The bridal party was full of energy and laughter, making the entire day feel like I was hanging out with old friends! The fun, lighthearted atmosphere made capturing these candid moments such a blast. Josiah and Sarah’s connection and joy were so evident throughout the day, from the emotional getting-ready moments to the heartfelt ceremony and all the way through the evening’s dancing.
The evening’s mountain views and the elegant, nature-inspired details came together to create an unforgettable celebration. And of course, the fine wines and culinary expertise from Swiftwater Cellars were the perfect complements to their day.
